Dave Ingram Joins Bacardi Limited As Chief Supply Chain Officer

Dave Ingram is joining Bacardi Limited as its new chief supply chain officer, replacing the retiring Jean-Marc Lambert.  

Most recently chief procurement officer at Unilever, Ingram will have leadership over the spirits company’s end-to-end supply chain, including advancing its initiatives to increase sustainable sourcing of key ingredients.  

He spent more than two decades at Unilever, according to his LinkedIn profile, where Bacardi said he oversaw global spend across marketing, business services, production items, and manufacturing portfolios. He also led regional supply chain teams for over 10 years as a senior executive in Europe, Asia, and North Asia, and started at Unilever at the market level, leading supply chain for Mexico and the United Kingdom.

Ingram will join the company Sept. 1 and report to CEO Mahesh Madhavan. Lambert, who has been with the company for more than two decades, will stay on until April 1, 2023, to support the transition.

In an announcement of the appointment, Madhavan highlighted Ingram’s global experience, collaborative approach, digital focus, and leadership style. “We are excited to welcome him as he delivers on dynamic sourcing that will bring our iconic brands to consumers in the most efficient and responsible way possible,” noted the CEO. 

A privately held company, Bacardi Limited operates production facilities in 10 countries and sells in more than 170 countries. In addition to its namesake brand, it includes such brands as Grey Goose, Patron, Dewar’s, and Bombay Sapphire in its portfolio. The company employs more than 8,000 people.
