Adesso Launches New High Tech Data Center

In December 2010, Adesso Solutions, a leader in integrated technology solutions for the consumer goods industry, announced the successful transition of its entire client base to its new state-of-the-art data center managed by Online Tech.

 

“This new partnership with Online Tech provides the foundation for us to more rapidly provide customers with new features, greater functionality, and enhanced data security, while leveraging the latest technology from Microsoft,” says Adesso Solutions’ Chairman Ron Reed.

 

Adesso Solutions has an aggressive product roadmap that will roll out over 24 months and by updating to the latest Microsoft platform, the company expects to be well-equipped to deliver the next evolution of software products to the consumer goods industry.

 

“With virtualized servers and the newest server hardware from Dell, we now have a flexible, scalable environment to meet the demands of our growing customer base,” says Richard Jones, Adesso Solutions’ Executive Vice President of Engineering. “Online Tech utilizes the latest in security and intrusion detection software to ensure the safety of our clients’ data. By transitioning to new servers we also significantly enhanced our backup recovery services which ensure site availability in the event of an unforeseen service interruption.”

 

The transition of all customers to the new data center resulted from the successful collaboration of a cross functional team at Adesso Solutions and members of the technical and administrative teams of our customers. The project was first announced to customers in mid-September and took only 10 weeks to complete. Clients received a continuous stream of timely updates which significantly influenced the success of the overall project.
